April 4 Afternoon Trip

Well this afternoon trip started a little late but we had a great time. It was a family of 5 headed by Mr. Erdberg.
His wife and there three Very funny girls couldn't wait to go fishing so off we went to our first spot. The water is still brackish so the fish are staying in deeper waters so we went to a spot that was deep and good current. We caught a few Rat Reds under sized and a couple nice stingrays and decided to go to another spot. We went up to a rock ledge and we caught a couple nice black drum and then the little girl latched on to a huge black drum and she was so excited and her arms were getting tired so i took over the fight and brought him in the rest of the way for her and they couldn't believe the size of it lol. Then his wife caught one as well and she brought him in and it was a nice size one as well. Well the trip was almost over and we hit another spot and we caught a few more drum some crocker and lots of crabs lol the girls thought they were so cute and i told them the story of the lost mermaid that got saved by the crabs.

Great way to end the day and hope they will be back again soon.
