Well Sunday's trip was interesting. The fishing conditions was perfect for a full day of limiting out. Got several calls for guiding that day but already booked for a full day client. We went out and had minimal success. The water was salty, winds 2-3 knots, cloud cover and tides in our favor..... The only thing we didn't see was birds working hmmm very puzzling; everywhere we looked was lazy birds and sleeping pelicans. Plenty of bait swimming but no Activity. We headed to the rocks caught a few drum and i few undersized redfish and one nice keeper. Then we headed to the platforms with little success mostly crocker. Last place before we called it a day was the shell pad caught a couple drums and a couple small sand trout. One day for the books for low numbers but it was a blast and She had a great time on the water.

anks for sharing the article, and more importantly, your personal experience of mindfully using our emotions as data about our inner state and knowing when it’s better to de-escalate by taking a time out are great tools. Appreciate you reading and sharing your story since I can certainly relate and I think others can to
